Join us for the 2020 North Canterbury Wine & Food Festival! On Sunday 8 March, thousands of laid back food and wine lovers gather under the oaks at Glenmark Domain to celebrate the harvest in style. They’re going to be thirsty for the best the region has to offer so we need you! Please fill out the form below to apply for a site, applications close Friday 31 October 2019.

WHATS REQUIRED FROM YOU
Complimentary Glasses *
3 x complimentary serves from your stall at the festival. These will be exchanged for vouchers (created by us with your stall holder name on them so you know the number is limited to three) and will be used as promotional giveaways, for entertainers or volunteers.
Complimentary Bottles *
3 x complimentary bottles of wine to the festival committee to use at their discretion. (i.e. used as promotional giveaways, or as contra payment for festival expenses where possible). The bottles will be collected from you prior to 9.30am of the day of the festival
Set Up / Pack Down *
In consultation with the committee there will be a new process trialled for the 2020 festival. All set up and pack down will be completed by the marquee provider and will not require any volunteers to be supplied by wineries. A $150+GST labour cost will be added to your invoice to cover this investment.
Stallholder Waivers *
By applying for a food site at the North Canterbury Wine & Food Festival 2020, you are accepting the following waivers
MORE INFORMATION WILL BE SENT TO ALL CONFIRMED STALLHOLDERS IN NOVEMBER 2019
- The festival will have a licence to cover consumption and sales on site. - All winery sites are REQUIRED to get a special off-licence for sales of unopened wine to be taken from the site. - A template for this will be emailed out and each winery must complete and apply to Hurunui District Council (it will be sent to you by elle@brownbread.co.nz). The rate fee of $63.25 inc GST is to be paid to the HDC - Each stall will require at least one person to hold a Managers Certificate for the Sale of Liquor and act as Duty Manager. - If two wineries are sharing the one stall, each winery needs their own special off-licence for sales of unopened wine.
